Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Omnisc.

Product

What is Omnisc?

Omnisc is an AI-powered financial intelligence platform that analyzes 150+ stocks across AI/Tech, Defense, and Materials sectors. Three independent engines — News Impact, Technical Analysis, and Crowd Focus — feed into a Fusion Engine that produces one explainable directional assessment per ticker. Every reading comes with transparent reasoning: what the data shows and why.

Is Omnisc a signal service?

No. Omnisc provides direction plus arguments — structured analytical intelligence, not buy/sell signals. Every assessment includes the reasoning behind it so you can apply your own judgment. We call it "insights" and "readings", not "signals".

How is Omnisc different from other finance tools?

Most finance tools fall into two camps: charting tools where you build your own analysis from raw indicators, and news apps that show headlines and basic quotes. Omnisc runs three analytical engines automatically and synthesizes them into one explainable assessment per ticker, updated throughout the day. You get the reading and the reasoning without doing the analysis yourself.

What is the Fusion Assessment?

Fusion is the synthesis layer. It takes Technical Analysis as the base direction, applies News Impact as a bounded modifier, and uses Crowd Focus as context. The result is one of five directional states (Bullish, Lean Bullish, Neutral, Lean Bearish, Bearish), a conviction level (High Conviction, Moderate, Watch), and evidence support. Each assessment includes a narrative, risk notes, key drivers, and watch-for conditions.

What sectors and tickers does Omnisc cover?

Omnisc currently covers 150+ tickers across three sectors: AI & Technology (semiconductors, software, cloud, AI infrastructure), Defense (aerospace, defense contractors, cybersecurity), and Materials (metals, mining, industrial commodities). Sector expansion is planned.

What is the Intelligence Feed?

The Intelligence Feed shows what news headlines mean for stocks. It surfaces scored news impacts — grouped by article, ranked by impact strength, and filterable by sector, direction, source quality, and ticker. The 'What Matters Now' block highlights high-impact articles. Each impact card shows the ticker, direction, score, confidence, catalyst type, and a plain-language explanation.

Data & Freshness

How often is the data updated?

News Impact runs every 10 minutes during market hours, every 15 minutes off-hours. Technical Analysis updates daily after 4:00 PM ET (market close). Crowd Focus runs every 3 hours. Fusion calculates multiple times per trading day, and its display text refreshes every 10 minutes around the clock.

What happens on weekends and holidays?

Technical Analysis and Fusion do not recalculate on weekends or US market holidays because there is no new price data. News and Crowd engines continue running. The platform shows the most recent available data with a freshness indicator so you always know how current each reading is.
